Delcy Rodríguez retires 110 generals and admirals from the armed forces
Delcy Rodríguez ordered the retirement of 110 senior officers: 42 from the Army, 30 from the National Guard, 20 from the Navy and 18 from the Air Force, Infobae reported. According to the outlet, the retirements coincide with the 33-year service limit.
On NTN24, analysts called it a purge of Maduro loyalists and said it seeks armed forces that answer to Rodríguez rather than to Nicolás Maduro or Diosdado Cabello.
