The acting government and an opposition delegation began talks on Thursday, Reuters reported. According to La Gran Aldea, talks were set up at Parque Simón Bolívar in Caracas; Jorge Rodríguez leads the lawmakers elected in 2025 and Dinorah Figuera those of the 2015 National Assembly. The agenda: earthquake victims, institutions and political rights.
La Gran Aldea reported that only photographers were let in and that VTV and Telesur got access while other outlets were kept out. CNN noted that María Corina Machado is not taking part. On VPItv, political scientist Paola Bautista de Alemán stressed Washington's role as guarantor.

On Con El Mazo Dando, Diosdado Cabello said Andrés Velásquez opposes the table while Juan Pablo Guanipa backs it, and went over the dates on which María Corina Machado announced her return.
