Machado and Edmundo González convene the Unitary Platform over the Jorge Rodríguez–Dinorah Figuera talks

Machado and Edmundo González Urrutia met the Unitary Platform on Wednesday over the talks that Jorge Rodríguez and Dinorah Figuera will open on August 1 on elections and the electoral council (CNE), Infobae and Informe21 reported. Figuera named early members, about 10 per side. Vente Venezuela says “the urgency of the people” must be at “the center of any agreement.”

Patricia Poleo saw Marco Rubio's approach behind the talks. On state TV, acting president Delcy Rodríguez visited El Junquito and thanked the National Assembly for its solidarity accord with the earthquake victims.
