Chavismo and the opposition agree on seven-jurist panel to vet new Supreme Court candidates

The government-opposition dialogue table named a seven-jurist council, announced by Jorge Rodríguez and Dinorah Figuera, to review whether candidates for the new Supreme Court meet legal requirements, according to Infobae and El Diario. The agreement also advances the unblocking of digital media outlets.

In a video posted Sunday, opposition commentator David Placeres said "Dinorah's team" — the opposition — holds a majority on that council to help decide the new court's makeup, by his own analysis.
