Comando con Venezuela called a nationwide caravan this Sunday demanding María Corina Machado's safe return and a timetable for presidential elections in 2027, Infobae reported. Machado said she expects to return "very soon" and called for keeping up pressure for an electoral process that includes the diaspora, according to Mundiario.
Jorge Rodríguez denied that chavismo is blocking her entry: "No vale, por Dios" ("That doesn't hold up, for God's sake"), he said, according to Infobae. An NTN24 video also showed Rodríguez circulating the claim that Machado "had renounced her Venezuelan nationality," something the channel's journalists and Panamanian diplomatic sources denied.
