CIA documents on Venezuelan vote manipulation point to Jorge Rodríguez and Smartmatic

According to NTN24, the CIA documents declassified by Donald Trump's government describe mechanisms to manipulate electronic voting between 2004 and 2020, through control of the CNE and use of Smartmatic technology. The CIA did not confirm massive fraud in every election, the channel reported. Jorge Rodríguez once headed the CNE and now presides over the National Assembly.

On NTN24's Club de Prensa, Natalia Cabrera asked whether Rodríguez will be arrested. On Patricia Poleo's channel, Marian Valero cautioned that the papers do not prove every fraud. State TV barely mentioned elections this week.

Delcy Rodríguez visits the Carlos Delgado Chalbaud camp as complaints from quake victims grow

According to VTV, acting president Delcy Rodríguez visited the Carlos Delgado Chalbaud transitional camp in El Junquito, which serves 146 families hit by the June 24 quakes. She was joined by Jorge Rodríguez, head of the general staff for transitional camps. The channel highlighted community stores and medical care.

From the opposition, Daniel Lara Farías said no fire-service official has explained to people how to prepare for another earthquake and that anger is growing.
