The government announced on Friday the release of 131 political prisoners at the request of the Attorney General's office, EFE reported. Releases took place at the National Institute for Female Orientation and Rodeo I. According to EFE, Foro Penal had confirmed 64 cases by nightfall, and those released must report to a court every 30 days.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the releases a "crucial step" toward reconciliation and said 1,046 Venezuelans have left prison since January 3, according to EFE and La Patilla. They come two days after the first round of the dialogue table ended.

Acting president Delcy Rodríguez toured Ciudad Caribia on Friday, where 1,000 homes are being built for more than 4,000 people, according to her official broadcast.
