Delcy Rodríguez inspects the Poliedro de Caracas temporary camp; Provea warns thousands of quake victims still lack guaranteed rights

Acting President Delcy Rodríguez on Tuesday toured the temporary camp set up in the Poliedro de Caracas parking lot in Coche, according to the official broadcast. She was joined by Héctor Rodríguez and Jorge Rodríguez, introduced as head of the general staff for temporary camps.

On VPItv, Provea warned that thousands affected by the June 24 earthquakes still face rights violations and demanded the government guarantee housing, health, education, jobs and water. It cited 6,438 dead and 17,907 displaced people in 107 camps as of August 10.
