Miami court sets January 20, 2027 sentencing date for Alex Saab after his guilty plea

The federal court for the Southern District of Florida set January 20, 2027 as Alex Saab's sentencing date, according to Cibercuba, after he pleaded guilty to one count of money laundering. He must forfeit $195 million and cooperate with prosecutors within 14 days, per MVS Noticias.

Patricia Poleo said Saab 'will hand over proof of everything in 14 days' and asked why the FBI hasn't captured Diosdado Cabello. David Placeres reported Saab said he was 'medicated, with anxiety crises.' Daniel Lara Farías asked what remains of 'chavismo's official version' after the guilty plea.
