Chilean prosecutors again say Diosdado Cabello ordered Ronald Ojeda's murder

Chilean regional prosecutor Héctor Barros said that if Diosdado Cabello were in Chile, an arrest warrant against him would most likely already exist over the 2024 kidnapping and killing of Venezuelan ex-military officer Ronald Ojeda, El Tiempo Latino reported. Prosecutors name him as the intellectual author who paid Tren de Aragua to carry it out.

Opposition commentator David Placeres says that if Cabello is found guilty, the case would put Delcy Rodríguez's interim government, which also included Nicolás Maduro's cabinet, in a difficult spot. Washington is offering a $25 million reward for information on Cabello, per El Tiempo Latino.
