OFAC expands eight licenses for oil, mining and telecoms in Venezuela

The U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control issued eight amended general licenses on Thursday, including 46D for exporting Venezuelan oil, 50C for companies such as Chevron, Repsol, Eni and Shell, 51C for minerals such as gold, and 61A for telecoms, La Verdad reported.

On VTV, a program called the licenses a relief and said they give oil companies room to operate with some security.
