The new Supreme Court
On August 27, 2026 the Assembly passed a partial reform of the Supreme Court law: 32 justices chosen by the deputies, with a nominating committee of 11 deputies and 12 civil-society members. On September 23, at the first session of the second period, naming that committee was not on the agenda.
